Primary Responsibilities
As a Junior Full Stack Developer, your daily activities and key performance areas will include:
- Application Development: Design, develop, enhance, and maintain responsive Web applications and single-page applications for the firm’s global Reconciliation platform.
- UI/UX Engineering: Implement fluid layouts, positioning, and modern UI design patterns using JavaScript frameworks (React and Node) and Material UI.
- API Integration: Connect frontend clients seamlessly with backend services by consuming REST or GraphQL based APIs and processing JSON data structures.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Write and execute comprehensive unit and integration tests while troubleshooting and resolving performance issues at the OS, application, and code levels.
- Technical Documentation: Author detailed technical documentation to support functional changes and provide follow-up support to product managers and architects across the globe.
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Education & Qualifications: Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical field of study.
- Core Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience developing web applications using JavaScript, Python scripting, and JSON data.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript UI/UX frameworks (React/Material), sound knowledge of software design patterns, and an understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud development platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or possession of any accredited industry cloud certification is a major plus.
- Interpersonal Skills: Well-rounded team player with excellent written and oral English communication skills, capable of adapting quickly to a fast-paced, complex IT environment.
